State Level Secondary school River Ranger Camp 2006

150 secondary school student from 30 schools were trained to become River Ranger from 12 to 14 september 2006.The 3 days programme taught students on river issues and the importance of managing our rivers. In return , it is hoped that students will get a better understanding of the river systems and care and appreciate the value of a river. Only then our rivers would be taken care of and our source of water be safe guarded for the future generations to come.
